Mriga Farm was the dream of my father Shri Shashikant R. The seed of those dreams were rooted deep in my heart from childhood. He always used to tell :
एकाकी वयं अल्पं कर्तुं शक्नुमः; मिलित्वा वयं बह्वत् कर्तुं शक्नुमः।
Meaning : Alone we can do little; together we can do so much.
With this belief, I started my commercial farming in the year 2005. As the time passes there was an acute realization that post-harvest losses not only imply wastage of food but also represent a colossal waste of human labour, agri-inputs, financial investments and scarce resources like water. In 2020, Mriga Farm decided to help farmers access the latest technology and processing infrastructure, follow organic methods of farming, to grab the market for the product follow global best practices and offer the highest quality fresh and processed products to discerning consumers globally. Now Mriga Farm is serving over 3,000 registered farmers that covers 20 crops. Also helps 125 home industry in marketing their home products.

All the products of Mriga Farm are good. Ms. Shailaja helps out other farmers and promote other good home products only when she get satisfy with the product. I tried Molagapodi of Chennai, Fish Curry Masala of Andhra and Chilly Pickle of Rajasthan. All these products are fabulous. I specifically like Prawns Pickle and Raw Turmeric Pickle of Mriga Farm. Shailaja Mam always guide us not to purchase quanity in bulk if it is not necessary. I basically like her straight talk about her products and services.
